SERVICES - WHAT I DO
Becoming a new parent is a delicate time of transition. Having an overnight postpartum doula will give you the support that you need to help you recover physically and emotionally — allowing you to foster an even stronger bond between you and your baby. It would be an honor to help you navigate this new family dynamic by caring for your little one overnight. Here are just some of the services that I will provide:
Newborn Care
While you, the parent, restfully sleep I will take care of your baby through out the night. I can bring the baby to you for nursing or prepare a bottle and feed the baby. I will burp, change diapers, and sooth the baby between feeding sessions. I will also provide you a record of your baby's night.
For the Parents
I will bring the baby to you for nursing or feeding session. As a certified lactation educator, I can provide tips on breastfeeding. Similarly, I bring clean pump parts for each pumping session and will collect milk for use or proper storage.
A light snack will be prepared for the breast/chestfeeding or pumping parent. I am also available to answer questions and provide helpful resources during these nights and for correspondence between visits.
For Your Household
If a laundry facility is available in your home I will wash and fold the baby's laundry. I will also wash bottles and pump parts. I'll make sure that baby's play area and changing station are ready for next day's activities.

Family and Work
My name is Khilola Ibragimova. I am a mother of two and from an early age I've enjoyed working with children. I grew up helping my sister-in-law raise her five children. I have a bachelor's degree in Economics from Tashkent State University of Economics. After I immigrated to the United States in 2008, I worked at a daycare center in New York, caring for children as young as 2 months old. This experience really solidified my desire to work professionally with babies and young children. My family relocated to Northern California and since that time I have had extensive experience working as a nanny. I decided to expand my training and completed certifications in doula training with Cornerstone Doula Trainings and am a certified lactation educator through Evergreen Perinatal Education. I participated in the volunteer doula training program at San Francisco General Hospital. I love working with newborns and look forward to working with more families as a postpartum doula in the future. I currently live in the Frisco, TX area and I am looking forward to meeting you and your family.
Rest Assured
I have undergone a background check, I'm insured and I'm up to date with my CPR, AED and First Aid for infants certifications. I have received both of my COVID-19 vaccines and boosters. I also keep current on my flu vaccinations. So sleep well, your precious newborn is in good hands. Your satisfaction is my goal. It will be my honor to support your family during this exciting phase with a newborn child.

Khilola was our night doula for two months when our second daughter was born at the start of 2020. She was such a wonderful, loving, and attentive doula. We could not have asked for anything more. Khilola was warm and friendly from the first second she entered our home. She washed her hands, asked the right questions, had her own preferences but did as we asked if we had our own preferences.
She genuinely liked our daughter and made us feel super comfortable. We went to sleep assured that she had it all covered.
She may not have had a huge amount of experience dula-ing (we were her first) but she has a special intuition when it comes to babies and she has a lot of experience nannying. This intuition gives her confidence where other Doulas are sometimes too tentative. She was excited to learn and give our child the best possible care.
